Pay Rate: $17.00 / Hour

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to staff, patients, and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, location-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and reporting concerns to site contacts and/or Allied Universal leadership.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the healthcare location, including interior areas, entrances, parking areas, and perimeter points, with working conditions that may vary by site.
• Monitor access points and help to deter unauthorized entry by observing activity, verifying permissions when required, and reporting unusual behavior and/or suspicious conditions.
• Support daily operations by assisting with visitor directions, monitoring high-traffic areas, and communicating clearly with staff and/or first responders during incidents or medical-related events.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
