Work Environment

This position offers a flexible and supportive remote working environment, allowing for a balanced work-life dynamic. Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough assessments to identify family dynamics and individual needs, leading to the development of comprehensive treatment plans.
• Utilize evidence-based therapeutic techniques to deliver effective individual, couples, and family therapy sessions.
• Document clinical observations and client progress meticulously, ensuring compliance with organizational policies and legal standards.
• Facilitate communication among family members to clarify perceptions surrounding disruptions and work collaboratively to resolve identified issues.
• Provide grief support and therapeutic interventions that assist clients in managing emotional distress.
• Generate detailed reports to be used as expert testimony in relevant legal cases, when necessary.
• Engage in continued education to stay updated on best practices in marriage and family therapy.
• Utilize technology and teletherapy platforms to conduct sessions and manage client data efficiently.

Patient Population / Client Focus

As a licensed Marriage and Family Therapist at Greystone Counseling Center, you will primarily support families dealing with complex relational issues such as divorce, parenting challenges, and mental health disorders. Your role will focus on creating a safe and supportive environment for clients navigating their life transitions and healing processes.

Qualifications

• A master’s or doctoral degree in Marriage and Family Therapy or a closely related field from an accredited educational institution.
• A valid and current LMFT license in the state of New Jersey, with compliance to all state regulations concerning practice.
• A minimum of one year of supervised clinical experience, demonstrating proficiency in applying therapeutic techniques.
• Exceptional assessment and diagnostic skills to effectively address various mental health and relational issues.
• Proficient in developing and executing individualized treatment plans tailored to client needs.

Preferred Experience

• Experience in utilizing teletherapy platforms and virtual counseling tools.
• Prior work with diverse populations and an understanding of cultural considerations in therapy.
• Knowledge of and experience in family systems theory and related therapeutic practices.

Compensation and Benefits
