Contract (13 Weeks) | 36 Hours Per Week | 12-Hour Rotating Day/Night Shifts (7:00 AM–7:30 PM / 7:00 PM–7:30 AM) | Every Other Weekend and Every Other Holiday Required

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care on a 36-bed Medical Surgical Intermediate Care unit with heavy telemetry monitoring
• Manage a patient population that includes stable and weaning ventilator/trach patients, sepsis, trauma, alcohol detox, GI bleed, TBI, ortho trauma, spinal cord injury, and stroke
• Maintain a 4:1 patient ratio, including management of insulin drips and primary patient assignments
• Float to higher-acuity inpatient units as needed across the facility
• Deliver timely, independent, and organized care in a fast-paced environment

Required Qualifications

• Active Wisconsin Registered Nurse (RN) license
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications through AHA or ARC
• Minimum 2 years of RN experience (firm requirement)
• Stepdown, Intermediate Care, or PCU experience required
• Ventilator and trach experience required
• At least one prior travel nursing assignment required

Preferred Experience / Skills

• ICU experience preferred
• Trauma Level II experience preferred
• Experience with EPIC electronic health records preferred
