About the Role

The Company is seeking a Chief Financial Officer (CFO) to take on a pivotal role in leading the organization's financial strategy and operations. The successful candidate will be responsible for shaping and executing the financial strategy in line with operational goals and long-range plans. This includes directing budgeting, forecasting, and full-cycle accounting activities, as well as ensuring the preparation of accurate financial statements and management reports. The CFO will also be tasked with maintaining compliance with grant, contract, and regulatory requirements, leading cash flow planning, and managing annual audits. A key aspect of the role is to identify financial risks, recommend mitigation strategies, and strengthen policies to protect the organization's assets. Applicants for the CFO position at the company should have a Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance, with a master’s degree preferred, and a CPA is required. A minimum of 7 years' progressive finance experience, including senior-level leadership, is necessary, along with a proven track record in budgeting, financial forecasting, and full-cycle accounting. The role demands a strong background in financial reporting, analysis, and presentation, as well as experience in managing grant and contract compliance. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical, strategic planning, and team leadership capabilities, and be adept at fostering a culture of accountability, collaboration, and high-quality performance within the finance team.
