Surgical First Assist - CSFA

First Assist CST/ORT

This position requires a First Assist CST/ORT to provide support in the operating room. The unit consists of 10 main OR beds with a patient ratio of 1:1. Staffing includes one circulator and one surgical tech for each room. Proficiency in orthopedic procedures, Davinci robotic surgery, and neuro surgery is essential. Advanced skills needed include craniotomy, spine fusion, liver resection, whipple, and MAKO total joint procedures. The dress code consists of scrubs that are provided. This role offers an opportunity to work with new equipment and technology. It includes rotating call on weeknights and weekends. The unit has a strong focus on patient experience and education. Team members are encouraged to share any awards and recognition received by the department.
