About the Role
The Community Engagement Coordinator serves as the primary liaison between project teams and the local community. This highly visible position focuses on building relationships, coordinating events, and supporting community outreach initiatives.
Responsibilities
- Develop relationships with community organizations and local businesses
- Coordinate workforce development and outreach events
- Organize career fairs and community engagement programs
- Support diversity and inclusion initiatives
- Coordinate project-sponsored events and community programs
- Represent the company at networking events and public meetings
Qualifications
- Event planning, community engagement, recruiting, or public relations experience
- Strong networking and relationship-building skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication abilities
- Outgoing and professional personality
- Experience coordinating large events preferred
