Join the Stowe Motel team, a family-owned business, as a Maintenance professional and play a vital role in ensuring our guests have a comfortable and enjoyable stay. We are looking for a dedicated individual who is passionate about maintaining a high standard of facility care in our beautiful Stowe, VT, location. Responsibilities:
- Perform routine maintenance and repairs on hotel facilities, including plumbing, electrical, and HVAC systems.
- Conduct regular inspections to identify and resolve issues before they affect guest experience.
- Respond promptly to maintenance requests from staff and guests.
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance tasks and inventory of supplies.
- Coordinate with external contractors for specialized repairs and services.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations in all maintenance activities.
- Assist in setting up and breaking down event spaces as needed.
- Maintain a clean and organized maintenance shop and work area.
- Proven experience in a maintenance role, preferably in the hospitality industry.
- Strong knowledge of plumbing, electrical, and HVAC systems.
- Plumbing - Repair sinks, toilets, and showers with the ability to solder.
- Ability to troubleshoot and resolve issues efficiently and effectively.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Valid drivers license and reliable transportation.
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to high-quality service.
