Packing, Organizing & Liquidation Specialist

Are you organized, reliable, and compassionate? Caring Transitions of Essex is hiring team members to help seniors and families downsize, relocate, and transition with dignity and ease. What You’ll Do: Collaborate with a team to help clients downsize, relocate, and liquidate items. Organize, pack, unpack, and resettle clients in homes or senior living communities. Sort items for recycling, donation, disposal, or cleanout. Use handheld devices to photograph, describe, and list items for resale. Research, organize, label, and handle items for online or in-person sales. Assist buyers during on-site pickups and sales. Perform physical tasks, including standing for long periods, bending, lifting up to 25 pounds, packing/unpacking, and climbing stairs. Transport supplies, items, and moving boxes within homes or outbuildings. Follow best practices, safety protocols, and company guidelines. Note: We are not movers; professional movers handle furniture or items over 25 pound No two days are the same — every project is unique! Schedule & Pay: Project based scheduling with flexible scheduling $18.50 /hour Requirements: Able to lift 30+ lbs and stand/move for extended periods Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation Smartphone for projects, scheduling, navigation, and communication Friendly, team-oriented, and dependable Perfect for: Retirees, students, caregivers, parents, or anyone looking to do meaningful, part-time work.
