Accounting Instructor

Seeking an experienced accounting professional, the part-time Accounting Faculty will deliver advanced online instruction in Auditing, Forensic Accounting, and Taxation within a graduate program, engaging actively with students and ensuring course alignment with university standards. Key responsibilities Conduct online courses through the learning management system while engaging with students and providing timely feedback Complete quality checks of assigned courses and maintain accurate records for student grades Support retention efforts by actively monitoring student engagement and participating in university assessment initiatives Required qualifications Ph.D., DBA, J.D., or equivalent doctorate degree with a focus in Accounting and 18 graduate credit hours in Accounting Minimum of three years of relevant industry experience and at least two years of higher education teaching experience Proficiency in using Learning Management Systems (LMS) and leading interactive graduate discussions Preferred professional licensure: Active CPA, CMA, CFE, CIA, or equivalent credential Documented experience working with a diverse student population in a remote teaching environment
