Job Description We're looking for an IT Help Desk Technician to join our fast-paced IT department as the frontline of technical support for our internal teams. You'll be the first call when something breaks and the person who tracks it through to resolution - troubleshooting hardware and software issues, setting up new workstations, and working with vendors to keep our people productive across our locations. This is a good fit for someone who's organized, communicates clearly, stays calm under pressure, and genuinely enjoys customer service - just with internal "customers" instead of external ones. Schedule: This position will work Monday-Friday, 8am-4pm. What You'll Do: Answer and resolve 1st- and 2nd-tier support tickets Work with outside vendors on support tickets and project-related tasks Set up workstations with computers, peripherals, and required software Test computer hardware (hard drives, mice, keyboards, etc.) to confirm proper functionality Install and configure software and security applications to spec Monitor IT support services and keep service request records up to date Provide onsite support as needed to minimize downtime and resolve issues promptly Take scheduled technical support calls Coordinate with IT team members, internal users, and vendors to resolve issues quickly Support teammates as needed to help the department and company hit their goals Stay current on company, DTNA, and product bulletins - recalls, failures, new product lines, and industry trends - so you can apply that knowledge on the job Qualifications What We're Looking For: 2+ years of professional experience or combination of professional and academic experience Valid Driver's License and ability to meet insurance requirements is required Experience with ConnectWise software is a plus Demonstrated knowledge of technological equipment, operating systems, applications, troubleshooting, general network administration, and handling networking issues in a Windows-based environment Strong organization skills that reflect the ability to perform and prioritize multiple projects Strong personal conviction to safety, producing quality work, customer service, and commitment to company values Some travel may be required to perform on-site technical assistance for other TCI locations Must be willing to participate in a pre-employment background check and drug screen What We Offer: Pay Range: $20.42 - 30.64 per hour 401(k) with company match Health insurance with 3 plan options to choose from, Vision Insurance, and Dental Insurance Paid time off including paidvolunteer time Disability insurance FSA and HSA options Company paid Life and AD&D insurance Maternity leave Employee assistance program Wellness program Additional Information Truck Centers, Inc. is an equal opportunity employer (EOE).
