About the Position

TravelNurseSource is working with Lancesoft Inc to find a qualified OR RN in Madison, Indiana, 47250!

• Perform all perioperative nursing assessments and reassessments.
• Plan, implement, and evaluate individualized patient care.
• Ensure safe surgical preparation, intra‑operative monitoring, and recovery support.
• Maintain sterile technique and safety protocols.
• Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesia, and surgical technologists.
• Educate patients and families on surgical care and discharge needs.
• Delegate appropriately to licensed and unlicensed personnel.
• Participate in quality improvement and evidence‑based practice initiatives.
• Support team culture, mentorship, and precepting when needed. Schedule & Work Details
  • 36 hours/week
  • 12-hour shifts (6:30 AM – 7:00 PM)
  • Call Requirement:
    • 7 call shifts per 6‑week period
    • Includes 3 weekend call shifts
  • Days: 3 per week
  • Some flexibility required based on surgical case load

Requirements

Licensure & Certifications

Required:

• Active Indiana RN License
• BLS
• ACLS

Education

Required:

• Nursing Diploma OR Associate Degree in Nursing (ASN)

Required Experience

• 2 years minimum acute care RN experience
• Must have OR circulating experience in:
  ✔ Orthopedics
  ✔ General surgery
  ✔ OB/GYN
  ✔ Ophthalmology (eyes)
  ✔ Spine
• EPIC experience required
