- Prepare rental equipment for customers by performing service, inspections, and preventative maintenance
- Diagnose and repair equipment issues
- Perform hydraulic and electrical repairs
- Repair or replace damaged or failed components
- Perform maintenance and repairs on aerial lifts and material handling equipment
- Complete accurate daily service records and paperwork
- Work both in the shop and at customer/job sites
- Maintain equipment in a safe, reliable, rental-ready condition
- Perform other related mechanical and maintenance duties as needed
- 3+ years of experience in heavy equipment repair or a related field
- Strong knowledge of hydraulic systems
- Strong knowledge of electrical systems and troubleshooting
- Knowledge of engines and mechanical systems
- Experience troubleshooting and repairing equipment
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Valid driver's license
- Ability to pass a background check and drug test
- DOT medical card required for Field Service Technician position
- JLG or Genie certification
- Extensive aerial lift repair experience
- 7+ years of equipment repair experience
