Senior Infrastructure Engineer - Network Lead

Salary: $61,000 - 101,000 per year Requirements:

• Formal training or certification in infrastructure engineering, with 5+ years of practical experience across campus and WAN environments, including extensive enterprise wireless expertise in designing, deploying, and troubleshooting large-scale Wi‑Fi.
• Strong hands-on knowledge of RF design, roaming, capacity planning, interference mitigation, and wireless performance tuning.
• Ability to operate effectively in high-visibility situations and communicate confidently with senior executives, translating technical risk, options, and business impact into clear written and verbal language.
• Proven troubleshooting discipline using structured methods such as root-cause analysis, packet captures, wireless analyzers, and log review, plus the ability to produce corrective and preventive incident documentation.
• Working knowledge of one or more infrastructure engineering areas, such as hardware, networking terminology, databases, storage, deployment practices, integration, automation, scaling, resilience, or performance assessment.
• Demonstrated experience using enterprise-authorized AI tools to support infrastructure engineering workflows, with strong validation practices and awareness of data sensitivity.
• Ability to review and confirm AI-assisted recommendations before implementation, escalating when needed and ensuring outcomes align with resiliency, security, and auditability expectations.
• Proficiency in specific infrastructure technologies and programming languages.
• Preferred: 10+ years of experience in a similar role.
• Preferred: applicable certifications.

• Apply deep technical expertise and structured problem-solving to analyze complex data and systems, anticipate issues, assess upstream and downstream effects, and recommend mitigation actions.
• Use enterprise-authorized AI capabilities to speed up analysis of infrastructure signals and document mitigation options, while validating results and handling operational data in line with sensitivity and security requirements.
• Partner with other platforms to design and implement changes needed to resolve issues and modernize our technology and operating processes.
• Lead multiple complex programs and drive delivery outcomes.
• Provide thought leadership within the product line.
• Own infrastructure engineering work in alignment with business needs, compliance standards, risk and security requirements, and business objectives.
• Promote reuse-first adoption of AI-assisted practices across delivery and automation routines to reduce recurring issues, with changes validated, traceable, auditable, and aligned to resiliency and security expectations.
