Senior Software Engineer

Overview

SilverEdge is a premier provider of innovative cyber, software and intelligence solutions addressing everyday challenges to meet mission goals across the DOD and Intel Communities and beyond. We are seeking a Software Engineer to support our prime contract. Your daily duties include:

Responsibilities

• Detailed design, documentation, coding, code optimization, unit testing, code deployment and code improvements of both desktop and web-based solutions on Microsoft platforms (desktops, servers, websites) using .NET, ASP.NET, C#, and other Microsoft technologies.
• Perform custom software development only when a commercial solution is not available.
• Ensure all software code is developed and maintained in accordance with USG Information Assurance (IA) and Security (INFOSEC) standards.

Required Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field of study and at least 8 years of relevant experience.

• Understanding and knowledge of Microsoft .NET technologies.
• Experience with Oracle, Java, Python, and C#.
