• Minimum 3 years of direct procurement experience

• Experience managing purchase orders, supplier relationships, expediting, and procurement activities
• Strong communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills
• Ability to manage multiple projects and suppliers simultaneously
• No more than 3 jobs within the last 5 years, no more than 1 large job gap of 6 months or more in last 5 years

• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Business, Procurement, or related field

• Support procurement activities within the New Unit Gas Turbine business, focusing on tactical execution of purchase order schedules for multiple projects
• Work closely with internal stakeholders and suppliers to ensure timely delivery of materials, resolve procurement-related issues, and drive supply chain performance
• Manage procurement work queues and ensure purchase orders are issued on time
• Partner closely with internal customers to support project needs and customer care
• Manage supplier relationships, negotiate price increase requests, and resolve invoicing/payment issues
• Support supplier qualification, selection, evaluation, and development processes
• Maintain procurement documentation and contract management records
• Monitor purchase orders and supplier performance, including order confirmations and schedule adherence
• Support transportation, logistics, and customs compliance requirements
• Provide weekly schedule progress reports
• Manage a work queue and secure that Purchase Orders are issued in due time
• Ensure a close cooperation with Internal Customers to ensure customer care and early involvement
• Contribute to implementation and ensure usage of globally defined methods, processes, and systems to ensure high process efficiency and process compliance
• Support and/or lead Procurement Business Plan activities
• Collaborate with global and local project management and the operational material requirements planning team to achieve most effectiveness in planning, alignment, and execution
• Continuously monitor own procurement list, follow up on execution such as order confirmation, progress, compliance with quality requirements
