RN Post Procedure Cardiac

The Registered Nurse in the Post Procedure unit provides specialized care for patients who have undergone cardiac or interventional procedures and require Med/Tele monitoring. This role demands at least one year of critical care or cardiac nursing experience and involves continuous patient assessment, monitoring, and collaboration with the healthcare team to ensure optimal patient outcomes in a fast-paced clinical environment. Responsibilities:

• Provide nursing care to patients post-cardiac or interventional procedures at a Med/Tele level of care.
• Perform ongoing patient assessments and monitor vital signs and cardiac telemetry.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to develop and implement individualized care plans.
• Respond promptly to changes in patient condition and provide appropriate interventions.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient care and clinical observations.
• Ensure compliance with hospital policies and safety protocols.

• Minimum of 1 year of critical care or cardiac nursing experience.
• Current Registered Nurse license in the State of Ohio.
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association.
• Current Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification for healthcare providers from the American Heart Association.

• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) degree.
• Professional certification recognized by the Magnet Association.
• 1-2 years of critical care or cardiac nursing experience.

• Must have demonstrated ability to work in a fast-paced, high-acuity environment.
• Experience with cardiac telemetry and post-procedure patient care is essential.
• Compliance with all hospital and unit-specific protocols and standards is mandatory.

• Work schedule and shift assignments will be determined based on unit needs and may include day, evening, or night shifts.
