Position: Experienced Construction Litigation Attorney

Experience Level: 5+ years

Location: Houston office (full-time, in-office)

Practice Areas: Litigation, with a preference for construction litigation

License: Active Texas law license required

Key Responsibilities

• Litigate construction and commercial matters from initial strategy through final resolution
• Draft high-quality briefs, motions, and legal memoranda
• Conduct and defend depositions
• Participate in hearings, mediations, and—where applicable—trials
• Work both independently and collaboratively with legal teams
• Communicate effectively with clients, courts, and opposing counsel

Qualifications

• 5+ years of litigation experience, preferably with construction-related matters
• Excellent brief writing and analytical skills
• Trial experience strongly preferred
• Strong academic credentials
• Self-starter with the ability to manage multiple matters efficiently
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
