Description

• Assess patients in a therapeutic setting (inpatient or outpatient) and create tailored treatment plans.
• Deliver physical therapy methods focusing on enhancing mobility, strength, balance, and overall function.
• Engage collaboratively with nursing staff, physicians, case managers, and rehab professionals to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
• Educate patients and their families regarding therapeutic goals, discharge procedures, and home exercise regimens.
• Maintain accurate records documenting evaluations, treatments, and progress in accordance with regulations.
• Participate in interdisciplinary rounds and conferences, enhancing collaborative care approaches.

Education

• Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) or an equivalent qualification from an accredited institution.

Certifications

• Current state licensure as a Physical Therapist .
• CPR certification is preferable.
• Additional specialized certifications (e.g., neurological, geriatric) are beneficial but not mandatory.

Skills

• Prior experience is highly desired.
