Electronic Associate / Soldering / Apprenticeship / Ocala, FL

Description The Electronic Associate will be located in Ocala, FL and will work with the Ocala Operations team to manufacture circuit cards, wiring harnesses, and electro‑mechanical assemblies that contribute to the success of Lockheed Martin’s Missiles and Fire Control sites. Compensation: $20.00 per hour. Shift Requirements: Availability to work both first and second shifts. Responsibilities Perform soldering, bonding, wiring, routing, riveting, assembly, disassembly, touch‑up, rework, cleaning, and minor modifications to assemblies and subassemblies. Work from approved engineering drawings, mechanical blueprints, and quality inspection procedures. Use measuring instruments and equipment to perform visual, dimensional, and mechanical inspections. Maintain logs, records, and complete required paperwork. Participate in a 4‑week paid training program to develop skills and knowledge. Basic Qualifications High School diploma or equivalent. Ability to work first and second shift according to collective bargaining agreement. Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Office (PowerPoint, Word, Outlook). Completion of a 4‑week on‑site paid training course covering solder skills, plated‑through‑hole skills, cable and harness assembly, and surface‑mount technology skills. U.S. citizenship required due to facility security requirements. Desired Skills Manufacturing or production experience, including plated‑through‑hole, cable and harness assembly, solder, and surface‑mount technology. Willingness to learn and self‑disciplined. Quality focused with strong attention to detail. Strong oral and communication skills. Ability to work well individually and as part of a team. Clearance Level: None Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week. Work Schedules: This position requires on‑site full‑time work at a designated Lockheed Martin facility. Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules for additional flexibility.
