This role provides physical therapy services under the direction and supervision of a physical therapist.Duties & Responsibilities:Implement selected components of patient interventions (treatment), obtain data related to the interventions provided, and make modifications either to progress the patient as directed by the physical therapist or to ensure patient/client safety and comfortProvide quality physical therapy services including implementation of the treatment plan established by the patient's physical therapistProduce accurate, relevant, and timely documentation based on the physical therapist's prescribed course of treatmentCommunicate the patient's treatment progression, changes of treatment, and recommended medical follow up when necessary to team members, as appropriate.Educate and counsel patients regarding issues related to treatment and goal(s), safety risks, and/or other issues within scope of practiceParticipate in team reassessments and discharge planningOther related duties as assignedMinimum Qualifications:AA or higher degree as Physical Therapist Assistant from an institution accredited by Commission on Accreditation in Physical Therapy EducationCurrent State Physical Therapist Assistant LicenseCurrent CPR certificationWhy Join Our Team:Professional and Clinical Development — Ongoing mentorship and continuing education opportunities.Collaboration and Care Team Model — Opportunity to work within a care team that provides support and collaboration both within individual clinics and across the organization.
