Radiologic Technologist Mammography

Schedule: Day Shift

Assignment Details:

• Contract Length: 13 weeks
• Guaranteed Hours: 40 per week

Requirements:

• Education: Bachelor's or Associate's degree from an accredited Radiologic Technology program
• Licenses/Certifications: OBMI and ARRT registered Mammography Technologist, Current BLS certification
• Experience: Minimum of 2 years preferred

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Perform diagnostic radiography procedures and assist in the preparation and positioning of patients.
• Corroborate patient's clinical history with the procedure, ensuring documentation is available for the licensed practitioner.
• Evaluate images for technical quality and assure proper identification is recorded.
• Practice aseptic techniques and provide appropriate patient care during procedures.
• Verify informed consent for interventional procedures and assist licensed practitioners as required.
• Prepare, identify, and/or administer contrast media and medications as prescribed when permitted by institutional policy.

• Participate in required education for programs applicable to the position.
• Orientation and background checks may be necessary as required by institutional policy.
