Requirements / Qualifications
Possess a valid Food Handler's Safety Certificate or obtain one within three (3) months of hire. Possess a valid driver's license and maintain insurability. Must be able to provide your own reliable transportation to work sites within Kings County.
Additional requirements:
- Be fingerprinted at the Kings County Office of Education for a background clearance from the Department of Justice and the FBI, the $63.00 fee is paid by the applicant in cash, money order or cashier's check at the time you are fingerprinted. (The payment and a valid photo ID are required to be fingerprinted).
- Complete an online New Hire Orientation.
- Provide a current TB clearance.
- Letter of Introduction
- Letter(s) of Recommendation
- Resume
