About the Position

Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Registered Nurse (RN) Specialty: Progressive Care Unit (PCU) Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 7:00 PM - 7:30 AM Hours per Shift: 12.5 Experience: Minimum of 24 months of PCU experience with recent experience in the last 12 months License: Active license to practice without any issues Certifications: ACLS and BLS, both from approved vendors Must-Have: - Life support certifications from recognized organizations - No hits on state license to practice - Travel experience is highly preferred Description: The unit is a mixed surgical PCU and may also require floating to other units on campus, including an overflow and observation unit. Candidates must have previous travel experience to be considered. Candidates must be flexible regarding locations, shifts, and departments to secure an offer quickly. Candidates must be able to start on the specified date or within one week. Requests for time off must be included upfront and cannot exceed 7 days. No time off is allowed during the first week of the assignment. Candidates should be prepared to work in various facilities and departments, as required. Candidates must provide a driver's license to verify residency. Strict adherence to background check standards is required. A completed skills checklist for PCU experience from the last 12 months is necessary. An active license to practice must be verified within the last 30 days. Candidates must have active ACLS and BLS certifications.
