Job Description:

Title: Outpatient Infusion / Oncology RN

Schedule: Days, 5x8 (Mon–Fri) 07:30–16:00; start times typically 07:15–07:45; may work until last patient seen

Requirements:

Required: Infusion center or outpatient oncology RN experience; may consider inpatient oncology RN experience

Certifications: Chemo certification (ONS/ONCC); BLS

Additional: IM/subcutaneous injection experience; therapeutic phlebotomy

Preferred: OCN

Roles & Responsibilities:

Administer and monitor chemotherapy and immunotherapy treatments, including continuous and IV push.

Provide port and central line care and perform central line blood draws.

Manage infusion pump operations, initiate IV starts, and handle extravasation and neutropenic precautions.

Educate patients and families on treatment processes and recognize side effects.

Administer IM/subcutaneous injections and perform therapeutic phlebotomy.

Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive patient care.

Completion of pre-start modules estimated at ~16 hours
