Production Scheduler

PVH (Tommy Hilfiger/Calvin Klein)

Work Model: This is a fully onsite role, with work performed at your designated Regal Rexnord office. ____________________ The Production Scheduler is responsible for planning and executing customer order scheduling within the production environment. This role aligns customer order requirements with operational resources through scheduling and inventory allocation procedures to ensure customer needs are met in a timely and cost-effective manner. The position is also responsible for overall planning and consumption of inventory as it relates to the production plan, maintaining status reports, and supporting cross-functional teams to achieve on-time delivery to Regal Rexnord customers. Key Responsibilities Plan, schedule, and release production orders to maximize on-time delivery while minimizing inventory and operational costs. Schedule production, processing, assembly, and packaging activities. Schedule the human resources, tools, and equipment needed for the production process. Select and sequence available resources and required processing to individual work centers or lines. Implement scheduling changes due to backlogs, design changes, machine downtime, or material/labor shortages. Analyze on-time performance, production status, shipping performance, and inventory levels to identify root causes and drive corrective actions cross-functionally. Define inventory planning and control parameters to support on-time delivery and minimize excess inventory. Review inventory levels and take action to reduce unnecessary inventory. Review sales order status and provide feedback regarding planned recovery dates, sales order risks/opportunities, and root cause corrective actions. Lead, support, and implement process improvements using lean concepts. Support a culture of continuous improvement and simplification across the organization. Participate in training, Kaizen events, and RBS tools to develop as a site and functional team member. Work with site or functional leadership to develop current and future value streams, standard work, and sustained stability to achieve operating goals. Reduce scrap and non-conformances by eliminating waste and variation. Drive root cause corrective actions to reduce non- conformances. Assist operators in resolving set-up, tooling, fixture, special process, and tooling selection issues. Develop, maintain , and implement process routings and set-up instructions for the production of parts and assemblies. Perform other assignments as assigned. Required Skills and Qualifications Minimum of 3 years of experience in production and inventory control. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel, Word, Outlook, and Access. Experience with ERP systems, capacity planning, and inventory management. Detail-oriented and data-driven approach to work. Lean manufacturing knowledge and practical application experience. Demonstrated problem-solving skills using lean methodologies. Preferred Skills and Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain , Business, Technical field, or equivalent years of experience. SAP experience. Previous experience working in a machining environment. Experience supporting production scheduling, inventory planning, and value stream stability in a manufacturing environment. Experience participating in Kaizen events, RBS tools, or other continuous improvement initiatives.
