Responsibilities

Under the direction of the director, the RN Charge Nurse utilizes the nursing process, facilitates patient care making nursing assessments and diagnosis, formulates care plans based on the diagnosis, and implements and evaluates the plan of care.

Qualifications

Education: - Diploma/Associates Degree

Licensure/Certification/Registration:

- Florida Registered Nurse License

- BLS

- ACLS

Special Skills/Qualifications/Additional Training/Experience Required:

- At least 2 years of experience in an acute care setting

- Leadership Skills

- Should attend hospital training programs including: New Manager/Supervisor orientation and Leadership Development courses

- Must be able to read, write, speak, and understand English
