Step into a rewarding contract opportunity for an experienced Speech-Language Pathologist at a bustling elementary school for K-2 students near Chestertown, MD. In this role, you'll play an essential part in supporting student communication and language development, all within a collaborative educational setting. The position is full-time, with a consistent 35-hour workweek from October 1st through December 31st. You'll focus your expertise at one elementary site, working closely with students and multidisciplinary teams to create meaningful, lasting impact.

Key Qualifications:

• Current and valid SLP license required
• Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP)
• Proven experience in pediatric, school-based settings
• Strong foundation in student assessment, evaluation, direct therapy, and IEP development
• Effective communicator, comfortable collaborating with educators, parents, and other professionals

Core Responsibilities:

• Conduct assessments and student evaluations with attention to individual growth and needs
• Develop, write, and update Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
• Provide direct therapy services tailored for K-2 students
• Participate in meetings, collaborating with educational teams and families to address student goals
• Record and track progress, ensuring compliance and documentation best practices
