We are looking for compassionate and dependable Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs) to provide exceptional care to our residents during AM or NOC 12-hour shifts. If you're a team player who thrives in a skilled nursing environment and wants to make a meaningful difference, we encourage you to apply!Position Summary: As a CNA at Visalia Post Acute, you'll play a vital role in delivering daily nursing care and support services to residents in accordance with their individual care plans and our facility standards.Key Responsibilities Include:Provide routine care including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and feedingAssist residents with mobility, transfers, and positioning using proper techniques and equipmentMonitor and record vital signs, weights, and food/fluid intakeReport changes in resident condition, injuries, and incidents promptlyMaintain accurate and descriptive documentation on flow sheets and chartsEnsure resident comfort and safety while promoting dignity and independenceAssist with admission, discharge, and transfer proceduresMaintain clean resident areas and restock supplies as neededUphold resident confidentiality and facility privacy policies (HIPAA compliance)Follow all infection control, safety, and facility policies and proceduresQualifications:Must have a valid California CNA licenseCPR certification preferredMinimum education: 10th grade or equivalentStrong communication, interpersonal, and documentation skillsAbility to handle a fast-paced environment and work with residents of varying conditionsMust be dependable, compassionate, and a positive team playerPhysical Requirements:Must be able to lift/move up to 25 poundsFrequent standing, walking, and use of hands and armsOccasional bending, kneeling, and reachingMay need to assist in emergency resident evacuationsWork Environment:Low to moderate noise level in a skilled nursing facilitySupportive and collaborative work cultureOpportunities for growth and developmentStart your rewarding CNA career with Visalia Post Acute—where care meets compassion.
