Packaging Engineer
Our client is seeking a Packaging Engineer to join their team. As a Packaging Engineer, you will be part of the Packaging Development Department supporting the Packaging Innovation Team. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong problem-solving skills, excellent communication, and a proactive attitude, which will align successfully in the organization.
Location: Clark, NJ
Pay Range: $20/hr - $23/hr
What's the Job?
- Assemble packaging prototypes for consumer testing to ensure quality and functionality.
- Participate in managing the development of new tooling to support innovative packaging solutions.
- Understand and learn how to coordinate with Division, Operations, and Vendors to meet project goals.
- Adhere to key project deadlines and push division efforts to ensure successful launches.
- Learn and apply knowledge of packaging specifications, testing procedures, and troubleshooting technical issues.
What's Needed?
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related technical discipline.
- 1-3 years of proven experience in package engineering and development, preferably in cosmetics, consumer goods, or related fields.
- Strong PC skills, including MS Office, PowerPoint, and CAD software.
- Expertise in Adobe Creative Suite is preferred.
- Strong understanding of the packaging production process with meticulous attention to design details and quality.
