Editorial Designer

We're seeking an Editorial Designer to support our client, a leading creative company, in a contract role lasting 5-9 weeks. This is an excellent opportunity to contribute to a high-profile magazine project with a focus on visual storytelling and sophisticated layout design. Editorial Designer Responsibilities Lead the development of the visual concept for a new magazine publication. Design and implement multi-page editorial layouts ensuring consistency and clarity. Develop typographic systems and visual hierarchies to enhance readability. Apply Scandinavian-inspired design principles to create a clean and elevated editorial experience. Collaborate closely with the Design Director and internal teams throughout the project lifecycle. Editorial Designer Qualifications Proven experience designing long-form magazines, with a portfolio demonstrating work over 50 pages. Strong proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite. Excellent understanding of typography, composition, and information hierarchy. Style aligned with Swiss/Scandinavian design aesthetics, including grid reliance and clean visuals.
