Step into an engaging contract opportunity as an Occupational Therapist working with early childhood and elementary students in a dynamic educational setting near Racine, WI. This full-time, onsite position allows you to serve across two school locations, supporting young learners’ functional development and enhancing their participation in school activities. What you’ll bring:
- Valid Occupational Therapy license in Wisconsin
- Experience in school-based or pediatric OT settings, including home health a plus
- Familiarity with IEP processes, goal setting, and progress monitoring
- Strong communication and collaboration skills to work within multidisciplinary teams
- Capacity to travel between two designated school sites as required
- Comfortable providing therapy to both early childhood and elementary age groups
Key responsibilities:
- Conduct evaluations and assessments for students in early childhood and elementary grades
- Develop and implement individualized intervention plans to address students’ occupational therapy needs
- Collaborate with educational staff, families, and outside providers to deliver coordinated care
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation of services and progress notes
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to student goal development
- Provide consultation and training for school staff to foster student independence and participation
