Your Key Responsibilities

• Performing comprehensive evaluations, ordering necessary diagnostics, and crafting patient-centered care strategies
• Identifying and addressing acute, chronic, or episodic health issues with collaboration from physicians or independently (as permitted by qualifications)
• Guiding patients and their families in wellness, prevention, and disease management approaches
• Prescribing necessary medications and therapies within your scope of practice
• Engaging in patient follow-up and managing chronic care effectively
• Collaborating with interdisciplinary teams to provide cohesive, holistic care
• Accurately documenting patient interactions in electronic medical records (EMR)

Education and Certification Requirements

• Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) or Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP)
• Graduation from a recognized Nurse Practitioner program

Licensure and Certifications Needed

• Active Nurse Practitioner licensure in Arizona
• National certification as a Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP-C, AANP or ANCC) or equivalent in specialty
• Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications required (or must obtain within 90 days)
