We are looking for an experienced Human Resources Generalist to support a broad range of people operations in Louisiana. This role partners closely with leaders and employees to strengthen workplace practices, guide employee relations matters, and maintain compliant, effective HR programs. The position also plays a key role in hiring, onboarding, performance support, benefits coordination, and reporting that helps inform business decisions.

Responsibilities:
• Advise supervisors and staff on workplace policies, employee concerns, and day-to-day human resources matters while promoting consistent application of company standards.
• Lead employee relations activities by reviewing concerns, conducting investigations, supporting corrective action, and helping managers address performance challenges constructively.
• Oversee end-to-end recruitment efforts, including candidate sourcing, interview coordination, offer preparation, and onboarding activities for new hires.
• Facilitate orientation and onboarding programs that help employees integrate quickly and understand company expectations, policies, and available resources.
• Administer leave and case management processes, including accommodation requests, workers’ compensation matters, and unemployment-related documentation.
• Support performance management processes by assisting with evaluations, coaching conversations, development planning, and employee growth initiatives.
• Coordinate training and development efforts focused on compliance, leadership capability, and workforce effectiveness.
• Manage benefits-related administration, employee communication during enrollment periods, and routine support for compensation and payroll-related processes.
• Maintain accurate HR records, produce workforce reports and metrics, and help improve HR systems, data quality, and operational procedures.

• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related discipline.

• At least 5 years of progressive human resources experience, including experience handling broad generalist responsibilities.

• Strong working knowledge of employment laws, HR compliance requirements, employee relations practices, and benefits administration.

• Demonstrated experience conducting workplace investigations and resolving sensitive or complex employee issues.

• Proficiency with HRIS platforms such as Workday, Paycom, Paylocity, PeopleSoft, or comparable systems.

• Effective communication, organization, and problem-solving skills with the ability to work across multiple priorities.

• Experience with onboarding, HR administration, benefits support, and employee relations activities.

• HR certification with strong attention to detail, as well as multi-state or multi-site environment experience, is preferred.
