About the Role
The Company is seeking a Vice President Fund Controller with a focus on real estate. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading the financial operations of real estate investment funds, ensuring compliance, accuracy, and efficiency in reporting and investor relations. This role involves close collaboration with cross-functional teams to support various financial activities, including acquisitions, dispositions, and financing arrangements. The Vice President Fund Controller will also supervise external auditors, tax preparers, and fund administrators to uphold regulatory standards and best practices, as well as manage treasury operations and oversee payment management processes. Applicants must have a Bachelor’s degree in accounting or a related field, with a CPA certification preferred, and 8-12 years of experience, ideally with a background that includes both Big 4 accounting and private sector exposure. Proficiency in Microsoft Office and advanced financial reporting tools is required, and experience in real estate debt or general debt strategies is highly desirable. The role demands strong analytical, planning, and organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a dynamic environment. The ideal candidate will be ambitious, dedicated to achieving organizational success, and have a deep knowledge of fund structures, compliance requirements, and valuation processes.
