CNA - LTC/SNF

Call for Salary Rate - Job Summary: Provide basic nursing care to non-acute and acutely ill residents in a Long-Term Care/SNF setting. Ensure a safe, clean environment while delivering compassionate, patient-centered support under the supervision of licensed nursing staff. Responsibilities: Obtain nursing data through interviews and observations, documenting findings accurately. Perform general bedside care including bathing, oral hygiene, dressing, and application of heat/cold appliances. Assist residents with mobility, transfers, and daily activities such as feeding and toileting. Monitor and record vital signs, measurements, and intake/output, reporting abnormal findings promptly. Support residents with personal belongings and maintain cleanliness of rooms and equipment. Prepare residents for transport, assist with residents’ safety needs, and participate in emergency procedures. Qualifications: Current full, unrestricted CNA license in Alaska. High school diploma or equivalent required. Minimum of 1 year prior CNA experience preferred. Valid BLS certification. Ability to lift and physically assist non-ambulatory residents.
