The role involves handling a diverse range of pediatric cases, from routine ambulatory procedures to complex surgeries across all ages. With the addition of a Pediatric Neurosurgeon, the service line will expand to include neurosurgical procedures. The position also involves education, supporting eight anesthesia residents annually, and collaborating with the Geisel School of Medicine at Dartmouth College, the Department of Pediatrics, and other services. Pediatric assignments are prioritized, with potential participation in adult cases as the pediatric service continues to grow.
