Key Responsibilities of the RN - ER/ED - Emergency Room/Emergency Department

• Provide care for patients ranging from neonate to geriatrics with various emergency room diagnoses
• Manage heavy mental health population and trauma cases, including GSW, stabbings, and falls
• Perform cardiac rhythm interpretation, IV skills, and administer critical care drips and medications
• Administer TPA and blood transfusions, conduct procedural sedation, and respond to code blue situations
• Triaging patients effectively, if experienced in triage

Requirements of the RN - ER/ED - Emergency Room/Emergency Department

• Current BLS, ACLS, PALS, NIHSS, and TNCC certifications
• Minimum of 3 years of emergency department experience in a fast-paced environment
• Proficiency in cardiac rhythm interpretation, NIHSS, and critical care procedures
