Controller - Construction

Act as the Controller for designated clients Serve as a consultant and advisor on accounting and finance-related best practices Manage multiple clients, projects, workstreams, and deadlines Prepare and analyze client financial statements Make recommendations based on financial statement analysis Foster and build business opportunities Attend industry-leading events and trainings Maintain knowledge of client organizational policies and procedures, federal and state policies and directives, and current accounting standards Advise management on short-term and long-term financial objectives, policies, and actions Requirements Seven years of relevant accounting and/or financial experience required Bachelor’s degree required Combination of related experience, education, and training may be accepted in lieu of degree Public accounting experience preferred Nonprofit experience highly preferred CPA certification preferred but not required Prior project management experience preferred but not required Prior client management experience preferred but not required Core Competencies Demonstrates expertise in financial analysis, client management, and accounting best practices, with a strong focus on nonprofit and public accounting environments. Capable of advising on financial objectives and managing multiple projects effectively.
