Must-Have: X-ray and MRI experience preferred for day shift; CT/X-ray experience required for night shift


Description:
Candidates must be located outside a specified radius.
Candidates may not be employed as full-time, part-time, or PRN in any associated facility.
Provision of radiation badges will be made during onboarding.
Driver's license is required for verification of location eligibility.
Artificial nails are not permitted in patient care areas.
The department consists of three CT rooms.
There may be a need to float to X-ray or MRI based on shift and staffing needs.
The types of imaging/studies performed include adult and geriatric patients, some pediatric cases, CT biopsies, drains, aspirations, cryoablations, cervical injections, and stroke studies.
Experience with EMR systems and PACS is expected; specific systems used include EPIC and McKesson.
Department equipment includes Siemens CT scanners.
Shifts are mixed with varying start times and cyclic scheduling managed by supervisors.
Weekend requirements involve working every fourth weekend for day shifts and every other weekend for night shifts.
Holiday availability is necessary for two holidays per year.
On-call requirements include weekend call every six weeks and 3-4 weeknight calls per month when fully staffed.
Orientation consists of an estimated three shifts of department-specific training.
This is a fast-paced department where strong patient care skills and self-motivation are essential.
Candidates should be responsible, accountable, and open to challenges in the work environment.
