What You’ll Do

You’ll be at the center of keeping real estate transactions on track. Your day-to-day will include:

• Investigate Property Histories — Dig into public records — deeds, mortgages, liens, judgments, plats, and maps — to build a clear picture of each property’s legal standing.
• Resolve Title Defects — Identify issues like senior interests, liens, tax discrepancies, and judgments, then work them through to a clean resolution.
• Manage Your Pipeline — Own a daily caseload of files from review through clearance, hitting deadlines and maintaining quality across every one.
• Analyze Recorded Instruments — Determine the impact of each document in the chain of title and make sound decisions about next steps.
• Keep Everyone Informed — Communicate proactively with clients, borrowers, agents, and internal teams — providing clear updates and answering questions before they’re asked.
• Document Everything — Maintain accurate, consistent records in our system so nothing slips through the cracks.

What You Bring

• 1+ years of experience in title, real estate, or a closely related field
• Associate’s degree in a related discipline, or equivalent hands-on experience
• The ability to read and interpret title documents, underwriting guidelines, lender instructions, trust agreements, and purchase contracts
• Strong customer service instincts and polished, professional communication skills
• Comfort working under pressure and juggling multiple priorities without missing a beat
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office (familiarity with Resware is a plus)
• Solid math skills for calculating interest, commissions, proportions, and percentages
