Join Allied Universal as an Access Control Officer at a busy retail location, where you will help manage entry points, monitor visitor activity, and support a professional, welcoming environment. In this role, you will remain visible, conduct routine patrols, and provide strong customer service and communication. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to visitors, customers, and/or staff by carrying out site-specific procedures, monitoring access points, and/or communicating entry requirements in a professional manner.
• Help to deter unauthorized access by checking credentials, screening vendors and/or deliveries as directed, and documenting visitor activity in accordance with location policies.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and report security-related concerns to site contacts and/or Allied Universal leadership.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the store, entrance areas, receiving zones, and perimeter, with working environments and conditions varying by location.
• Support loss prevention and other security-related activities by observing customer and employee traffic, noting unusual behavior, and completing detailed incident and activity reports.

Minimum Requirements:

• Experience using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
