Job Summary:
Emergency Room (ER) nurse in a busy facility in California. This position involves providing acute care to a diverse patient population, with an emphasis on trauma and urgent medical situations. The role requires adaptability, quick decision-making, and strong clinical skills to meet the demands of high-volume emergency care.

Job Details:

• Schedule: Days shift, 12-hour shifts, minimum of 36 hours per week.
• Required Qualifications: California state license; at least 1.5 years of ER experience; certifications in Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS), Basic Life Support (BLS), National Institutes of Health Stroke Scale (NIHSS), and Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS); minimum 1 year of clinical experience; ability to interpret dysrhythmias and manage patients with multisystem organ dysfunction or failure; experience in trauma and community hospital settings; proficient in charting systems; hold a valid CA state license; willing to work required shifts including weekends and holidays.
• Preferred Qualifications: Experience with Trauma Level I and Level II; community hospital experience; exposure to interdisciplinary support services such as interpretation and pharmacy.
• Additional Information: Candidates should be comfortable floating between surrounding facilities as needed, with a readiness to meet staffing and scheduling needs. Must be able to work scheduled holidays and comply with all clinical and operational requirements outlined by the organization.
