On-Call Direct Support Professional - Honeysuckle Lane residence The Direct Support Professional (DSP)provides support and skills training to people with developmental and intellectual disabilities in a residential setting and within the community. Our Honeysuckle house, located in Catskill, is the home to four amazing ladies, who enjoy getting out of the house. They love to go shopping at all kinds of stores, in and around town. And if it's summer time, a trip to the beach or a water park is on the agenda. Do you like music? Do you enjoy watching movies? As an employee at Honeysuckle, get ready to chat with the ladies about their favorite music and movies. You will even get to watch along with them! If you enjoy doing arts and crafts, you can help with all the fun projects the ladies plan to do for each holiday! A high school diploma or GED is desired. Post-high-school education in Human Services is a definite plus. An acceptable NYS driver's license and basic computer knowledge are a must. An informative, paid new hire orientation is provided in a comfortable learning environment. Training will also include Van Certification, SCIP, First Aid/CPR, and Medication Administration certification. HOURS: On-Call/as needed STARTING SALARY: $ 18.56to $ $ 20.42per hour, with additional shift differentials as applicable U. S.
