Position Details

• Specialty: Respiratory Therapy
• Minimum Experience: 1 year
• First-Time Travelers: Considered upon review
• Patient Population: Primarily adult and geriatric patients, with some pediatric patients in the Emergency Department
• Patient Ratio: 1:1

• BLS
• ACLS
• CRT or RRT Certification

Required Skills & Experience

Candidates must be proficient in:

• Ventilator management
• CPAP & BiPAP
• Nebulizer treatments
• Arterial line placement
• Intubation assistance
• Ventilator weaning and extubation
• ABG collection and interpretation

Equipment & Technology

• EPIC EMR
• Pyxis
• AVEA Ventilators
• Servo U Ventilators
• LPU 1200 Ventilators
• Parapack MRI Transport Vents
• Hamilton Transport Ventilators

Additional Information

• Floating required to all units within the hospital
• Orientation includes a minimum of one shift to learn workflow and processes
• Every other weekend rotation required
• Up to 7 days of time off may be approved
• On-call requirements vary by department
• Block scheduling is not available
• Facility fatigue policy limits staff to:
  • Maximum 60 hours per week
  • No more than 5 consecutive 12-hour shifts
