Distribution Operations Associate

Our client, a leading logistics and distribution company, is seeking a Distribution Operations Associate to join their team. As a Distribution Operations Associate, you will be part of the warehouse support team, ensuring efficient and accurate processing of shipments. The ideal candidate will demonstrate attention to detail, reliability, and a proactive attitude, which will align successfully in the organization.

Location: Junction City, KS

Pay Range: $18.50

Shift: 1st Shift: 5am - 3pm Monday - Thursday Weekend Shift: 5am to 5:30pm Friday, Saturday, & Sunday 7am - 7:30pm Friday, Saturday, & Sunday

What's the Job?

• Accurately load and unload freight safely and efficiently
• Sort merchandise according to purchase order (PO) and SKU
• Use RF gun to locate and select merchandise for shipment to stores
• Scan boxes, open cases, and place them on the correct conveyor for sorting
• Pack customer orders, apply shipping labels, and prepare packages for shipment

What's Needed?

• High School Diploma or GED
• Minimum of 6 months of experience in a warehouse environment preferred
• Ability to operate RF scanning devices accurately
• Physical ability to stand for scheduled hours and lift weights up to 40 pounds
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and follow safety procedures
