How You'll Make An Impact In This Role

As our Labor and Delivery Registered Nurse, you will help moms safely through the delivery process to bring their healthy babies into the world. Our hard-working, dedicated nurses are at the heart of our patient care! Bringing new lives safely into the world is an amazing job!

• Implement and monitor patient care plans. Monitor, record and communicate patient condition as appropriate.
• Serve as a primary coordinator of all disciplines for well-coordinated patient care.
• Note and carry out physician and nursing orders.
• Assess and coordinate patient's discharge planning needs with members of the healthcare team.

What Minimum Requirements You'll Need

Licensure / Certification / Registration:

• BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
• Registered Nurse credentialed from the Indiana Board of Nursing obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required.

One or more of the following are preferred:

• Advanced Life Support preferred. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
• Certification specializing in The S.T.A.B.L.E Program.
• Certification specializing in Neonatal Resuscitation credentialed from the American Academy of Pediatrics (AAP).

Education:

• Diploma from an accredited school/college of nursing OR Required professional licensure at time of hire.

What Additional Preferences We're Seeking

Prefer at least 2 yrs Labor and Delivery RN experience.
