Quality Inspector

Job Details Description Level I Ensure that all relevant internal and external documentation utilized for inspection purposes is current. Accurately record inspection activities, as required, utilizing the Company’s ERP system. Read and interpret engineering drawings, specifications, and assembly prints. Perform inspection by utilizing handheld gages including calipers, micrometers, and scales. Perform final check to ensure all assemblies and detail parts are free of Foreign Object Debris(FOD) and non-conformance issues. Accurately populate quality assurance documentation using industry terms and definitions. Assist in Return Material Authorization (RMA) and Material Rejection Report (MRR) processes using Syteline to ensure timely resolution. Perform PCD Audits, document results and communicate findings Participate in 3rd Party audits as necessary. Handle customer supplied products with care. Maintain and reinforce ORIZON’s quality standards to meet customer expectations Manage time appropriately and respond quickly to all inquiries so that production, quality, and delivery schedules are met. Participate in Root Cause and Corrective Action (RCCA) process to ensure true cause has been established and corrected to prevent any reoccurrences. Level II Perform responsibilities associated with a Level I Inspector as well as the following: Perform inspection by utilizing laboratory grade equipment (e.g., CMM(s), Scanners, Optical Comparators, Surf analyzers, etc.) Enter data and complete First Article Inspection (FAI) Reports using Net-Inspect. Create and complete Return Material Authorization (RMA) and Material Rejection Report (MRR) processes using Syteline to ensure timely resolution. Capture data and images for use in creating a Power Point Presentation to clearly identify any non-conformances. Train Level I Inspectors to perform inspection and troubleshoot by utilizing laboratory grade equipment including (e.g., CMM(s), Scanners, Optical Comparators, Surf analyzers, etc.) #J-18808-Ljbffr Orizon Aerostructures
