Maintenance Technician – HOA & Residential | St. George, UT
Nexeo HR is hiring an experienced Maintenance Technician to support HOA and residential maintenance services in the St. George area. This is a full-time, long-term opportunity for a reliable, skilled handyman who enjoys variety in their work and takes pride in quality repairs and customer service.
This role is ideal for someone with a strong painting background and wide-ranging maintenance experience who can work independently with minimal training.
Responsibilities
- Perform general maintenance and repairs for HOA, residential, and commercial properties
- Paint and patch drywall; maintain clean, professional finishes (painting experience required)
- Complete basic plumbing repairs (leaks, faucets, toilets, minor pipe work)
- Perform light electrical work (outlets, fixtures, minor repairs)
- Repair and maintain outdoor and common areas (railings, sidewalks, fences, small structures)
- Assemble furniture and install shelves, fixtures, and hardware
- Conduct routine inspections and identify maintenance needs
- Maintain professionalism when interacting with residents and clients
Qualifications
- Proven maintenance or handyman experience (higher experience = higher pay)
- Strong painting and drywall repair background required
- General knowledge of plumbing, electrical, and construction repairs
- Residential construction, landscaping, or pool maintenance experience is a plus
- CPO Certification (Certified Pool Operator) is a strong plus, not required
- Ability to work independently and manage daily tasks efficiently
- Professional, presentable, and customer-service oriented
- Valid driver’s license with a reasonably clean driving record
- Must be dependable and safety-minded
Pay
$18.00 – $25.00 per hour
Schedule
Full Time | Monday – Friday | 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM
