Neonatal Intensive Care Unit - NICU RN - Travel Nurse Location: Moreno Valley, CA. Overview We are seeking Neonatal Intensive Care Unit Registered Nurses for an immediate travel nurse opening in Moreno Valley, CA. The ideal RN should have 1-2 years of recent acute care experience. Responsibilities Provide critical care to sick and premature infants. Assist in round‑the‑clock infant care and support to parents, offering emotional encouragement and guidance on home care. Care for infants transitioning to extra uterine life. Monitor vital signs and initiate corrective action when necessary. Provide nutritional assessment and specialized feedings. Change dressings, insert catheters, start IVs. Provide arterial and intravenous therapy. Monitor and adjust specialized equipment such as incubators and ventilators. Qualifications & Requirements BLS (Basic Life Support) certification. NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program) certification. 2 years of acute care nursing experience. Physical ability to stand and walk for long periods, bend, lean, stoop, and lift 10-20 pounds. Knowledge of hazards from chemicals and infectious diseases.
