IT Support Specialist - Hybrid (5 days in office for the 1st 2-3 months)

We are a growing professional services organization dedicated to delivering exceptional service to our clients through the expertise of our accounting, finance, and business professionals. Technology plays a critical role in supporting our teams, and we are seeking an IT Support & Systems Analyst to help ensure our employees have the tools, systems, and support they need to succeed. This position is ideal for a customer-focused IT professional with at least two years of experience supporting end users in a business environment. The successful candidate will serve as a trusted technology resource for our staff, providing technical support, assisting with system administration, and contributing to technology initiatives that improve productivity, security, and operational efficiency. Responsibilities Provide prompt and professional technical support to employees through phone, email, remote support tools, and ticketing systems. Troubleshoot and resolve issues involving desktops, laptops, mobile devices, printers, peripherals, operating systems, and business applications. Support Microsoft 365 technologies, including Outlook, Teams, OneDrive, SharePoint, Word, and Excel. Provision, configure, deploy, and maintain employee workstations and mobile devices. Manage user accounts, access requests, permissions, and onboarding/offboarding activities. Document support requests, resolutions, and technical procedures to maintain accurate records and knowledge sharing. Partner with accounting, finance, and administrative teams to ensure technology-related issues are resolved efficiently and with minimal disruption. Assist with software deployments, hardware refreshes, system upgrades, and other technology projects. Support routine system maintenance, patching, security updates, and endpoint management activities. Monitor and maintain technology assets and inventory records. Escalate complex issues when necessary and collaborate with internal team members or vendors to achieve resolution. Participate in an after-hours support rotation and assist with special projects as assigned. Requirements Minimum of 2 years of experience in IT support, desktop support, help desk, or a related technical support role. Associate degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Information Systems, or equivalent professional experience. Experience supporting users in a professional office environment. Strong knowledge of Windows operating systems and Microsoft 365 applications. Experience managing user accounts and permissions within Active Directory or similar identity management platforms. Understanding of networking fundamentals, including DNS, DHCP, VPN connectivity, and wireless networking. Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical users. Strong customer service mindset and ability to support professionals in a deadline-driven environment. Proven troubleshooting, problem-solving, organizational, and multitasking abilities. Ability to work independently while effectively collaborating with team members. Nice to Have / Pluses Experience supporting accounting firms, financial services organizations, or other professional services environments. Exposure to Microsoft Entra ID (Azure AD), Intune, endpoint management platforms, or cloud technologies. Familiarity with cybersecurity best practices, endpoint protection tools, and vulnerability management. Participation in technology implementation, migration, or infrastructure upgrade projects. Industry certifications such as CompTIA A+, Network+, Security+, or Microsoft certifications.
